Roxborough Park Renovation, CO

This residential renovation came about from a unique situation. The original construction of the home in the early 2000's placed it on the lot backwards. The rear of the home faced the street, and this has always posed a challenge for our client's family and guests to know where the front entrance was, and how to approach the house.

Additionally, the materials were dated and only contributed to the home feeling too suburban. With little visual interest and a confusing approach, a new design was needed that would blend contemporary, modern and rustic elements to make the home relevant and fit within its surroundings in the beautiful scenery of Roxborough Park.

This was not a small undertaking, and we're thankful to have a client who wanted a BIG bold vision for her home. It was very important to us and our clients that the home was reflective of the environment of Roxborough Park, not a juxtaposition to it. Still, it needed to make a grand statement and this was accomplished by a bold arch over the entrance, natural wood and slate, and lighting that was meaningful as well as impactful.
