Littleton Residence

This project is a beautiful intersection of modern and rustic. The owner tasked us with creating a space that felt like it could belong in the mountains, but was still metropolitan enough to be welcome in his quiet, upscale neighborhood. The goals of this renovation was to strip away the years and let the home become moden, relevant and sophisticated in a simple way. What were once dated and glossy pre- finished engineered wood floors are now phenomenal reclaimed wood floors sourced from dismantled Georgia cotton mills. The small and dysfunctional kitchen with dated materials became a stunning chef's kitchen with quality cabinets and luxury materials. The primary bathroom had never been updated from when the house was built. It now houses a stunning freestanding tub and a spacious steam shower. 

Renovation during a pandemic proved to be particularly challenging with labor and material shortages, but perseverance paid off, and now our client has a modern mountain stunner to enjoy his partial retirement years in.
